Ok, to be fair, I knew it was bad going in, but a group of guys sitting around drinking and one dared us to actually watch the whole movie "Nazis at the Center of the Earth". After watching the whole thing I was wishing it was as believable and realistic as "Iron Sky", but what do you expect from a movie where the ONLY person you can even recognize as having been on anything you have ever watched before was Jake Busey. It lost me 2 minutes in when a group of German soldiers came under fire at an airfield and returned fire with their RAILED MP40s, and like the Imperial Stormtroopers we all know and love couldn't hit nothing(to be fair the Americans weren't much better, except for the guy picking off guys at 200 yards with a Thompson), so the German VIP, who is actually Joseph Mengele, grabs a Luger and kills all but one American, one of them even as he is hanging out of the plane, before jumping in the plane. At this point the last American decides its a good idea to ditch his Tommy, run up and jump in the plane and just stare at Mengele long enough to let him draw a knife, point it at him and then slit his throat. And then if all this wasn't bad enough it only gets WORSE and STUPIDER by the minute. Only watch if you are half drunk to start with and looking for something to make fun of in a group and an excuse to get even drunker as it goes on. Trust me, alcohol is the only way to get through this piece of crap. How do movies like this get someone to fund them?

Come on! The WORST WWII movie ever is easily "Saving Private Ryan" (barring the first half hour) and the WORST 'Nam movie ever is easily "We Were Soldiers"... Aaaand cue the madness!

Its really sad that Cuba Gooding Jr was even in it. Other than the CGI dogfights(which looked cool but were still stupid) I way wish I had just watched Tuskegee Airmen again.
Peter, I agree to a point about both SPR and WWS. As if you send 8 guys searching for one. And Rangers at that. But at least they killed Vin Diesel. And Mel Gibson was just over the top, and too many clichés, like the young LT with the pregnant wife we all know is gonna die. The book was so much better, and spent a little more time and detail on the lost patrol. But I don't think they wanted to show THAT. But there are still much much worse Vietnam movies, granted not many with the budget and profile of WWS. As for bad WWII movies(not counting crap like Zombies at the Center of the Earth) how about Company of Heroes. Nothing like talking a barely average video game and making a movie out of it.

An older indi film, Saints and Soldiers, was not too bad, but it did have it's moments of "oh my god, why did they write this..."
Even more crazy is "Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed" They should have left it at the first one. I could not finish that movie. As well, they used the same actor which just drove me crazy.
